On Wings of Blue
Introduction
The students of the Ateneo during the 1950s still remember how the bleachers would erupt with cheers and songs during NCAA games. They also remember that an integral part of the arsenal of the Blue Babble Battalion, aside from their loud voices and stomping feet, was the cheer book, “On Wings of Blue” which was originally prepared by Lamberto V. Avellana (GS '28, HS '33, AB '37).
